Today I asked a few graffiti artists that work around east london about their views of street art/graffiti and recorded what they said on my phone. From this, I learnt that I cannot use my phone/another phone to record someone's voice for a voiceover in my documentary for future reference, when someone I ask to interview doesn't like the idea of being on screen, shown to others. I realised that other factors at the time of recording, can affect the quality of the recording(wind blowing by, people making noises around the same area). Below is a few examples of what resulted me recording with my phone.
I plan to record all voiceovers, and interviews with my camera, and then later on edit out any unwanted clips, when it comes to putting my documentary clips altogether.
I also learnt that when it comes to doing an interview i should be ready with a set questionnaire, as time can be wasted and i would have to make more arrangements to meet up with people and set aside more time than planned.
